According to CNN, the federal government began wiretapping domestic phones soon after 9/11. The surveillance started without court approval and they could listen to anyone's conversation if they had "reasonable basis" if suspected that one of the callers was a terrorist. Terrorist in my opinion is universal, I consider my boss and my neighbor to be terrorist but I don't see anyone tapping their phones. There is a hood terroist in every ghetto. So there is your warning folks, your phones are tapped, they took away our rabbit ears and gave us digital boxes so they can see what's going on in your houses or maybe I am just paranoid.
