Shine never spoke to Diddy the Snake!
I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs' imagination," he says in a statement. "He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident." (Rolling Stone)
Marge?
"
Marge is about to do something Homer might not approve of.
Playboy magazine is turning over its cover to the matriarch of Springfield's first family: Marge Simpson.
It's a first for the magazine, which has had everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Cindy Crawford to the Girls of Hooters and even the likes of Jerry Seinfeld on the cover. But it's never had a cartoon character before.
Marge and her pile of bright blue hair are set to grace the cover of the November issue of Playboy. It will hit the newsstands October 16.
Marge isn't going to bare all, though, as the magazine says there will only be "implied nudity" in the 3-page pictorial.
New CEO Scott Flanders says the idea is to attract readers in their 20s to a magazine where the average reader's age is 35. "

LisaRaye Hates Vivica & Star
Star Jones and Vivica A. Fox may want to take shelter: Their former pal, LisaRaye McCoy, says they did her wrong - and she's going to use her
new reality show to prove it.
The actress, who starred in the Will Smith-produced sitcom "All of Us" from 2003 to 2007, says a slew of her celebrity friends abandoned her after her divorce last year from Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, and she plans to blast them on her still-untitled show.
First up is former "View" co-host Jones, who raised McCoy's ire by supposedly supporting Misick after the divorce. "LisaRaye hosted Star at her home in the Turks & Caicos for three weeks when Star was going through her divorce from Al Reynolds," says a source close to the TV One series. "When the tables turned and McCoy's marriage ended, Star was helping LisaRaye's husband."
That allegedly included counseling Misick and even recommending her personal damage-control publicist to aid him during the messy split.
McCoy says she was also double-crossed by former best friend Fox, who allegedly shared McCoy's most intimate secrets with Misick. "LisaRaye hasn't spoken to Vivica since," said the source.
The list doesn't stop there - in fact, it gets worse. McCoy also counts "106 & Park" host Rosci as an enemy, accusing the BET star of having an illicit affair with Misick. Even McCoy's former TV hubby on "All of Us" has fallen out of favor - McCoy claims actor Duane Martin provided a mistress for her then-husband in an effort to do business on Turks & Caicos.
"LisaRaye intends to use her show as an outlet to air it all," says the source. "She's been quiet until now, but when she starts sharing these stories, it'll make 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' look like a gathering of church ladies."
McCoy's fair-weather friends aren't the only ones who may make headlines: She herself is battling rumors of an affair with the Rev. Al Sharpton. After the civil rights leader hosted a birthday reception for McCoy in Washington, D.C., last month, rumors of a romance began swirling - but McCoy is adamant their relationship is strictly professional.
Reached through her publicist, Jones said: "I would never discuss someone else's personal business with the media."
Reps for all other parties did not return calls for comment before deadline.

Tameka's Response to Signing Papers
To be or not to be…but at what cost? It's almost inconceivable the lengths that some artists & entertainers feel obligated to go to keep themselves in the headlines. The prioritization of fan base over God, family, morals, and over just plain ol' fashioned common sense is an example of that remarkable distance. I think it's important to understand the premise of letting a character that's been created for fans drown out who you really are. One easily can become a zombie, while the people who love them waste away looking for the sea salt. It becomes so easy to sell your soul to the entertainment business while creating an illusion of grandeur. Hence, this painfully obvious thirst for relevance that completely overshadows sensibility. Thirsty much?
When I started in this business over 14 years ago, I was a stylist (fashion) for many well-known artists both upcoming and platinum selling, I never imagined the atmosphere would become this cloudy or eerie. I was trying to define the images of young hopefuls who thought "my way" would set them apart from the masses. Often dorky and clunky, trying to find themselves in defiant color schemes, wrongly combined textures and overworked fashion techniques. Although, consumers see the finished product but are remiss as to what goes into the development. It isn't always a graceful process. Silly belts, headgear and nervously popped collars often highlighted a level of awkwardness in identity. I've watched boys become men and helped boys become men. Yet this identity crisis that hovers over much of the entertainment world is like a crimson cape of insecurity as does this obsession with being "hot" and having "followers." While fans fixate over the lives of their idols, some celebrities have become slaves to the persona that has been created for them but rarely has anything to do with who they are. Shock value. Publicity stunts. Peddling relationships like a vagabond for a few hundred double clicks on their fans favorite blog sites.
Who are they really?
Some of your favorite artists were born into the industry or should I say "grandfathered" into it and never got the chance to figure it out. Driven by vicarious dreams of demanding managers/labels, artists are a "what" not a "who." Their "what" is the gross, their "who" is the net. Artists get whatever is left of themselves after the world takes its share. It all reminds me of a scene from the film "The Devils Advocate" where souls were sold for money, class, and status.
The mirrors have definitely become smoky. So much in fact that it makes it hard for one to decipher reality from the facade. Is it Live or Memorex? Even the public should recognize the #FF (fame fanatics) who go to such great lengths to garner attention ranging from publicity ploys, outlandish stage outfits, sex tapes, head shaving, public grand standing, picture leaks and throwing tantrums. From vintage concepts of dating shows in hopes of finding a soul mate (huh? #wheredotheydothatat) to trying to hit Billboard Charts by any means necessary. Surely, the fans know better than to think what flows from "the pen" of any writer embodies the details of another human's deepest and true desires. Sadly, men singing about love, politics, marriage, children or anything genuine and benevolent equates to album sales flop, mundane chatter and waning popularity. It takes a song about disparaging all the aforementioned just to get accolades and spins on the radio. Unlike a mathematical equation the negative induces the positive. The need to placate fans puts artists at their mercy, leading to maniacal decisions. But I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. I digress….
Nowadays some artists, entertainers, producers and even songwriters are going as far as buying magazine covers and paying photographers to follow them like paparazzi. It's called #stayingrelevant. I say amass the fortune, help others and bump the fame, but that sentiment is not often shared. The fame, notoriety, popularity and prestige i.e. "the Light" for some is parallel to a drug. So much self-value is encompassed, without it life to them has little worth. Is it life imitating art or art imitating life?
Before the tirades and "smoke and mirror-esque" themes, when music actually made sense, even a mere decade ago, it was something we created memories with, celebrated, made and raised our kids to. It embodied our diverse cultures, experiences, and gave others a peek into our soulful worlds. Yet there are many like Lauryn, Mary J, Common and others that are non-conformists. They have never compromised themselves, their sexuality nor their art, yet they remain timeless. Although standing in "the Light' has had its costs for all, selling one's soul for relevance is completely different. It makes one wonder the cost of buying it back. I believe that many of these artists today lack the confidence in self that proves to be true staying power. Where there is absolute talent, no drama, no controversy, no nonsensical angles are needed. Its called: Do what God gave you the talent to do and leave the shenanigans to vaudeville and the games to Milton Bradley.
For those naysayers, I don't feel the need to run down my list of qualifications or validate myself, or point out the careers I have funded, started, saved, and salvaged. Yet I will say to those that create diversions for relevancy…to stop, save face, don't listen to those that benefit more from their advice to you, and ask God for suitable guidance. In the meantime don't feel inclined to do anything that isn't organic. At this point, I think I may start my own trending topic #betruetoyourself.
Those that actually KNOW me, know how I love a quote that is apropos, so as Dr. Seuss wrote:
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Madonna is Slow?
Guy Ritchie can't make up his mind how he feels about his ex-wife, Madonna.
On the one hand, the film director said in the November issue of Esquire magazine, "I still love her."
On the other, he added, "but she's retarded too."
Maybe he meant the latter comment as a reference to her exaggerated youth.
"She's a manifester, if there ever was one," he said. "Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23 year old, she'll outwork them, outdance them, outperform them. The woman is broad."

All for fashion.
Lindsay Lohan is apparently too big to appear on "Celebrity Big Brother," but she's not above modeling ripped leggings.
The scandal-plagued starlet currently appears in ads for her line of leggings, 6126 – named for Marilyn Monroe's birth date (June 1, 1926.)
Lohan lustily poses in the leggings, clutching a stripper pole in one shot and wearing a ripped pair that reveals much of her leg. The garments will run between $60 and $132.
While the 23-year-old New York City native has no problem modeling the pricey pairs, don't expect to see her on next year's season of the hit UK show, "Celebrity Big Brother."
There were rumors that Lohan was considering taking part in the show, but her spokesperson told the Daily Mail, "Producers have been calling and emailing her whole team and it has been a pass. This is a tacky way to get cheap publicity."
Considering the "Mean Girls" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star hasn't had a hit movie in years, the reality TV gameshow may not have been a bad choice.

Khloe and Larmar still talking PreNup
Though representatives for reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and her L.A. Lakers fiance Lamar Odom claim the famed couple is legally married, RadarOnline.com reports that they're only in the early stages of hammering out their pre-nup.
Several weeks ago, the couple held a $1 million wedding at the sprawling Bel Air estate of music honcho Irving Azoff. The bride's reality show, "Keeping up with the Kardashians," paid the heavy price tag on the agreement that the wedding would be filmed.
Despite Odom's claims that "[the wedding] was real," a source close to the basketball player reportedly said the pair hasn't signed the legal paperwork to certify the marriage.
"Neither side has set forth to the opposing side things to be included in the pre-nup," said the source. "They are only in the beginning stages of talks, but everything is moving forward, with no red flags from either Khloe or Lamar."
The source added that the couple, who were only dating for a month before tyng the knot, is expected to sign the pre-nup in the "next several weeks," adding that they are "very much in love."

Braylon Edwards Gets Traded to NY Jets
--
The Browns have traded receiver Braylon Edwards to the Jets for a package of players.
Cleveland will receive WR Chansi Stuckey, LB Jason Trusnik and undisclosed draft picks from New York.
The trade comes just two days after a Cleveland man accused Edwards of assault outside a nightclub in the city. The man is a friend of Cavs star LeBron James, who said Edwards' alleged assault was motivated by "jealousy."
