Quitting Loosies May Drive You Insane

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Two popular anti-smoking drugs will now carry warnings about the risk of severe mental health problems, the Food and Drug Administration announced Wednesday.
The FDA said Chantix and Zyban will carry the warnings to alert consumers to the risks of depression and suicidal thoughts when using the drugs.
The drugs also have been reported to cause changes in behavior, hostility and agitation in users, whether users had a history of psychiatric illness or not. In many cases, side effects started shortly after use began and ended when the medication was stopped. The FDA does not know what is causing the changes and said people taking these products should be monitored by their doctor.
"The risk of serious adverse events while taking these products must be weighed against the significant health benefits of quitting smoking," said Dr. Janet Woodcock, director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. "Smoking is the leading cause of preventable disease, disability and death in the United States, and we know these products are effective aids in helping people quit."
The agency also is requiring Pfizer Inc., which makes Chantix, and GlaxoSmithKline, maker of Zyban, to conduct a study looking at how often these serious symptoms occur.For more click here

Robert Kelly is at it Again...

R Kelly is a disgusting excuse for a man. There is no reason why his music should still be played or why he should even be in the streets. He has a problem and I hope he goes to jail this time. He is a poor excuse for a man.

According to MediaTakeOut.com, R. Kelly is being investigated by the Illinois police for committing statutory rape.

One day before the singer left for his South Africa tour police searched his house to look for a 17-year-old girl who had spent several days at his home. The girl reportedly had left the mansion 20 minutes before law enforcement officials arrived.

Police eventually found the girl, who just turned 17, just above the legal limit in Illinois. Police are still gathering evidence, including information from witnesses who say the girl spent consecutive nights with R. Kelly prior to her 17th birthday.

I met Aubrey "Drizzy Drake" Graham a few months ago (I would say right at the height of so far so gone releasing), at a popular in LA no one really "knew of him" like they know of him now. I was chillin with Drakes friend who I will refer to as "young" (don't want to get him in any trouble) when I saw Drake walk into our section he gave "young" a dap and me a hug, he made convo with "young" and he asked "young" was I his girl.."young" said no and whispered something in his ear. I began to get uncomfortable because I didn't know if what he was telling him was positive or negative. Drake began to laugh and busted out "oh forreal?"and that was it, "young" walked away after he made that unknown comment, leaving just me & Drake. I so badly wanted to ask him what "young" told him, but I kept it to myself. I began to make conversation with him about his new mix tape I don't think he was even there to chill with a girl. just to kick it & lay back. from the way he was dressed it was not overdressed but still neat. He was real cool & laid back he likes to have conversation, but really can't start them up. he has a real bad habit of pulling his phone out. very low-key and not into the whole club scene, he sipped champagne and bobbed his head to a few songs, one thing I can say about this guy is he's very humble and he's not the type to brag, he actually listens to what you're saying unlike other celebrities I've talked with. I was thinking he would be like the rest of the Young Money Crew (savage), but he actually told me some cool stuff for instance, he rather stay home & eat a cooked meal than go out to dinner. (with him doing the cooking) Drake & Aubrey are two different people. I know that's some Sasha Fierce/ Beyonce type of sh*t but he's really like that. We made convo for a while; with me doing the talking and him laughing. Never once did he ask me for sex or lets go back to the hotel room, some of these stories on here make me laugh.. this guy doesn't even get on the sex topic when you're talking to him. he knows what to say and when to say it. If anything this guy wouldn't come on to you first, usually it's probably the girl. he didn't ask for my number , I asked him for his. from my experience with drake he's not the "talking" on the phone guy, more of texting. Yes, we've had sex since that night maybe twice. when he's in LA he lets me know. very sweet is what drake is. and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't go down on a chick the first night. so some of these stories are out of the window. He was great, he makes sure you are comfortable, satisfied, not just regular "sex" he makes love. one thing I'd like to mention about him, he's a true gentlemen. He was definitely average, but he knows how to work what he was given. The positions were of course doggie, legs over his shoulders. he likes to be in control when you're giving him oral. too bad he didn't return the favor but overall the sex was bomb. I would rate drake in bed as a 4/5 he makes sure you get yours before he get his, he's into all of that romantic stuff, no talking during sex just passionate kissing and looking you in the eyes. Never have I asked him for money just happy for him & his career.

Tomeka and Usher Drama- "Usher and I Got it in Just a Week Before He filed for Divorce "

Usher's soon to be ex-wife states in a new court filing that she and the R&B star have not been separated since July 2008 and, in fact, were "intimately together" less than a week before he started divorce proceedings.

She had "every reason to believe her marriage was intact," her attorney stated in documents filed Monday in Atlanta.

But since it wasn't, Tameka now wants to make sure that her estranged husband takes care of all of her legal fees pertaining to the split and continues to support his family financially, per the filing.

Usher filed for divorce June 12, checking off "irretrievably broken" as his reason to end the marriage and requesting joint custody of the couple's two sons.

The duo swapped vows in a private civil ceremony in August 2007 and brought family and friends into the mix with a more elaborate set of "I do's" the following month.

Usher's divorce petition states that they were on the rocks less than a year later.

The singer's family, who wanted a funeral at Jackson's former home north of Santa Barbara, was not able to obtain a residential exemption required for a burial on private property.

"Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland," says a Jackson family statement. "Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."

Colony Capital, the investment company that purchased Neverland in May 2008, tried to get an exemption for burial. "They couldn't get it in time," a Colony spokesperson says.

As for reports that Jackson's body is being held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, William Martin, communications director for the funeral home, won't confirm or deny if Jackson will be buried there.

Michael Jackson's will, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles, gives his entire estate to a family trust and names soul sensation Diana Ross as a potential guardian of his kids.

Jackson named his mother, Katherine Jackson, beneficiary of the Michael Jackson Family Trust and guardian of his three children in the five-page document.

In an unexpected revelation, the former Supremes superstar was named to succeed Jacko's mother as guardian, if necessary.

Ex-wife Debbie Rowe, mother of his eldest two children, was cut out entirely.

"I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson," the will, drafted in July 2002, states.

It's unclear if Rowe, who divorced Jackson in 1999 after three years of marriage, intends to seek custody of Jackson's two eldest children.

Six other relatives stand to benefit from Jacko's will, including brother Tito's three sons, according to a court document obtained by TheSmokingGun.com.

Jackson's estate was estimated at more than $500 million, almost entirely "non-cash, non-liquid assets."

Michael Jackson Nurse Talks About Sedative Usage

"Mr. Jackson had asked a nurse three months ago for a powerful sedative, diprivan, that is used in hospitals, according to Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse who had been working as a nutritionist with the singer. Ms. Lee told Good Morning America on Wednesday that she refused to find an anesthesiologist to give it to Mr. Jackson because it was unsafe.

Ms. Lee recalled her conversation with the singer three months ago, and what she told him: "The problem with you telling me that you want to be knocked out — those were his words — is that you might not wake up the next morning. You don't want to do that."

Ms. Lee said that Mr. Jackson responded: "No, my doctor told me it's safe. It works quick and it's safe, as long as somebody is here to monitor me and wake me up, I'll be okay."

Four days before Mr. Jackson died, she got a frantic phone call from an aide to Mr. Jackson asking her to come see him immediately.

"I could hear Michael in the background. 'Tell her, tell her that one side of my body is hot, hot and one side is cold, is very cold.'"

Ms. Lee told the aide that Mr. Jackson needed to go to the hospital. "At that point, I knew that somebody had given him something that hit the central nervous system because, that's all he wanted was to sleep.""

NORFOLK, Va. - Suspended NFL quarterback Michael Vick is leaving his construction job and will begin working for the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of the Virginia Peninsula, Steve Kast said Tuesday, "I would like to confirm that Boys and Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula, in cooperation with the U.S. Federal Probation office in Virginia, has agreed to permit Michael Vick, a 12-year member, to fulfill a portion of his probationary requirements by working this summer at our Greater Hampton Roads facility, where he belonged as a youth."

Even before the official confirmation, children in nearby neighborhoods who use the Boys & Girls Club at Hampton and Jefferson Avenues were spreading the word.  Betty Barnes said her 12-year-old son ran into the house and said, "Guess what, guess what, Michael Vick is going over at the Boys Club!"

Kast said the decision was made after consulting with board and staff members, community leaders, and parents.

"We think he can have an impact on our children because of some of the decisions he has made, and his ability to deliver a message to our young folks," Kast said.

One of those decisions is the very reason the suspended NFL quarterback is working for $9 dollars an hour at the club. Vick is still serving a federal sentence for bank rolling a dogfighting operation. Having a job is one condition that allowed his transfer from prison to home confinement.

Adults and children told WAVY.com Michael Vick and his family are part of their families. After all, Vick spent 12 years as a member at the club where he played football and was mentored by adults.

Barnes said, "He's still going to be a good influence regardless of the things he did, or [has] done. I think he's paid for that and kids are still gonna love Michael Vick."

Another parent, Linda Kelly, sends her 8-year-old daughter to the Boys & Girls Club daily. She said, "I think he's done enough. I think they've punished him enough. He's done his debt to society, he's ok."

People who've lived near Vick's new job for a number of years remember him as a hometown hero who gave back.

"Michael Vick has donated a lot of time and money to that boys club for these kids," Barnes said, referring to Thanksgiving Day giveaways at the Boys & Girls Club that were funded and hosted by Michael Vick and his family.

Sharon Alton, another neighbor, said she is glad Vick is serving the club as he finishes serving his sentence. "What better place to do it than the community you lived in?...I knew him when he was a child and that's where he was all the time. So it's good for him to do something for the community," she said.

Kast said Vick's role will be to help with health and fitness, as well as general programs at the Boys & Girls Club. He said there may be a time when he works at one of the organization's other 14 facilities, but for now the plan is for him to work at the Hampton Avenue location.

Kast said he expects Vick to continue working for the organization until at least July 20.

Before starting his new job, Vick was working at a local construction company for $10 an hour
